1. Make a PTC academic account:

    www.ptc.com/appserver/common/account/ptcacademic.jsp

  2. Download Creo 8.0:

    www.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/academicFree.jsp

  3. Unzip the downloaded file and run setup.exe.

  4. From the PTC Installation Assistant dialog box:

    1. Select Install new software and click Next.
    2. Accept the license agreement and click Next.
    3. Click the + in front of Node Locked License Generation
    4. In the field that appears below, enter the product code BK800908EDSTUDENTEDUNI and then click Install Licensing

  5. Enter your PTC account info when the dialog pops up.

  6. Continue with the installation (I selected Ansys Simulation as well)

  7. Continue until the installation is complete.
